The chair that changes it all is the barber chair.

Every day, countless men, women, and children from all walks of life sit down and find a piece of joy in life. They pay their money and walk away with more than a haircut; they leave with a slice of therapy, a dose of support, and sometimes a lesson they didn't know they needed. For Black people, the barbershop is a pillar of the community, and its presence is not a luxury but a necessity. Especially now. I have had the privilege of gaining self-confidence, honest feedback on life decisions, and wisdom about life itself, all from my barber's chair. So listen up, because these stories are worth telling.
